I'm CONFUSED! Can someone help me?

Ok, here goes.

A "Bigger Plate" consists of 3 entrees and 1 side. It costs $8.40

A "Plate" consists of 2 entrees and 1 side. It costs $6.90

An extra entrรฉe costs $1.25

So, if I order a "Plate" with an extra entrรฉe (which is the equivalent to a "Bigger Plate"), it totals to ONLY $8.15

This being mathematically correct (which it is) and serving sizes being equal (which they are), WHY ARE WE BEING OVERCHARGED BY .25 CENTS WHEN WE ORDER THE BIGGER PLATE?

Every customer that orders a Bigger Plate is being ripped off 25 cents. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT PANDA?

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

An extra entree cost 1.50 when added to a regular plate. A PREMIUM entree is 1.25 extra PLUS that 1.50 extra entree fee. So if you get the bigger plate but one of the entrees is a premium entree, that is 2.75 added to the regular 2-entree one side plate price.
