*** was an truly an angel!
Pin not valid. It kept erasing my name, email, and phone number too.
Why do I have to write 100 characters? I love Panda Express.
- Price is fair
- It has healthier options
- Taste and quality of food
- Sometimes the portions are small
Preferred solution: I was already give a coupon code. “Angel Branch” was really nice. She’s a keeper.

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: The manager reassured me I would be refunded as I was missing my entrées once I got home. The refund never happened. I was not able to get a hold of him again.
- Visited Panda in Sioux Falls on March 3, 2026; bought two plates.
- At home, containers had only noodles; no main entrée; I called the manager.
Jesse at panda express on 41st St. in Sioux Falls South Dakota needs a raise!
I had him wrong but I think the main office if I was to do this survey about them. I’m gonna give them a mid to maybe even irritated rating. If I was just dealing with them and them alone, I would say unsatisfied and let us not forget that’s who denied my dispute on my credit card. This was not Jesse‘s fault!!!!
They seemed very hard to reach out to. They wanted numbers from him that were not my ticket number. Ticket number on my receipt, and the only ticket number, was six digits. They were telling Jesse they needed a 16 digit number.
There was no 16 digit number on there. And in the original call where Jesse said he would take care of it, I am certain the reason it didn’t get done, main office! The amount of wait time with Jesse and hold time….. I gave a good rating too because it wasn’t his fault.
If you want me to rate waiting time, I couldn’t even count how many times Jesse had to put me on hold to deal with them. Wait time much longer when it comes to that but the young man kept clicking over to make sure I knew he was still with me. He also asked me my phone number as a callback number in case we got disconnected. I’m sure the main office would’ve been OK with us getting disconnected.
How do I know all of this when I never spoke to them? Well, I’ve managed several businesses in my lifetime. One of them food service. So I’m well aware this is the main branch or main franchise Office problem.
I’m going to look into what an individual gets paid at panda. Probably not enough even though minimum wage went up. All of the workers inside the business, I’ve been in there before even though this was a drive-through incident., are clean and friendly and usually don’t make mistakes like this.
So if I were to say if I’d recommend any other panda than the one on 41st St. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, absolutely not!
Jesse, Asst. Mgr at Panda on 41st in Sioux Falls, spent quite a long time on the phone with me yesterday talking to the main office until he got me a full refund for me.
His customer service skills are amazing and I hope Panda is paying him enough. Unfortunately, the only time I had to call was over the noon hour. This did not stop the young man from going above and beyond. I know these things just happen.
I think my frustration was when the main office denied my credit card dispute. I I am not going to do anything about my adult son getting ill as we do live an hour away from Sioux Falls so it was probably about an hour and a half before the noodles (only thing in the containers) were eaten. And I did come through the drive-through shortly before they would be preparing everything fresh for the dinner hour. Having worked food service, and managed businesses myself, I’m well aware of those facts.
But, living Dollar to Dollar these days means every penny counts. And when we only have enough to enjoy the privilege once a month of eating out, it is very upsetting when these things happen. Now, back to Jesse….. refreshing to find really good customer service in this day and age.
I’m pretty sure the main office was only concerned that my son got sick. But, Jesse was concerned that I had gone through that much trouble with a credit card dispute and then the dispute was denied because nobody, I’m guessing, really even looked into it. They just sent the receipt back to my credit card company as if the receipt said I got it so I got it. You know what the receipt doesn’t say?
It doesn’t say how long the noodles had been out in the warmer.
And, as a person who got the most severe case of food poisoning I’ve ever had in my life from The District in Sioux Falls, I am here to say my son had a mild case. So…#givejesseasizableraisePanda
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
When I got home, I opened up both containers and they were missing the main entrée and only had noodles. I have called the manager.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: I am no longer going to be a customer. I was missing my entrées once I got home. ASST manager Jesse promised me a refund within 5 to 7 days that never happened and I was unable to get a hold of him after that. Started a dispute with my credit card company dispute was denied. I should also add that my son got violently sick to his stomach with diarrhea after eating noodles.
*BS EMPLOYEE *
8:00 PM/9:00 PM tonight and got cussed out by the employee saying I'm lying about my food, that I'm one of those people that want free stuff. Wouldn't give me his name and gave me attitude.
I ordered 3 meals and got 2. Not even the right rice.

Verified Reviewer- Customer usually loves the place; this visit was bad.
- There was too much cabbage.
- They offered a free meal next visit; refund denied.
I usually love this place. I always get honey sesame chicken.
Wow, it was bad. It was quite shocking! I was trying to work it out with them. I went inside and told them there was way too much cabbage and not enough other stuff.
They let me keep my food and gave me a container of noodles. I opened them up and there was even more cabbage. I called in and spoke to someone; they said they would put my name down so the next time I came in, I could have a free meal. By that time, I was not interested in getting food from you any longer.
I tried twice, and you failed twice! Why would I want to come back to you and pay good money for cabbage? I want my money back. The guy on the phone refused.
I told him I would get my money back. How this was handled was terrible.
- Bad sevice
- Bad food
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer |Bad service
- Long wait during a meal rush.
- Manager was unprofessional; totals and change were miscalculated; three rangoons arrived cold.
I often go to this Panda Express during a meal time rush. I don't mind waiting a little longer than 15 minutes.
Fresh food is being made as fast as orders can be filled. However, today I was greeted by a very unprofessional tone right from the start. After placing my order, I pulled up and watched the manager make rude/mocking gestures and faces to his employees (and me) out the food window. I tried to ignore it because I have been on the other side and realize some days are harder than others, especially in food service.
When I was asked to pull into a parking spot while they made more food for my double entrée orange chicken with fried rice (and two orders of rangoons with a large coke), I noticed the total went up significantly from $14.04, which was at the bottom of the screen, to $24.68. I also considered that fairly normal behavior in fast food because sometimes the computer side is slower than the talking side of things, and you just need to keep things moving during a rush. I handed them $30 cash to pay and was totally willing to pay more than expected initially, but was only left with $2 in change and the receipt in my hands as I sat waiting. When I went in to sort out the situation, the manager said he had already applied a discount and that's why the totals were different.
After I raised the question of being dollars short of the correct change either way, he took the receipt out of my hand and walked back to the window to take other orders for another 10 minutes before returning with a new receipt where the total only came to $20. I appreciated the gesture and made that clear but still wanted the money I was owed in change. The manager then offered to compensate me for the meal, and I politely declined and asked to speak with someone else since I no longer trusted them. At this point, other employees began to step in saying that the manager was overreacting, but there wasn't anyone else who could resolve the situation.
I asked about a location manager, other shift managers, or even the person who signs the paperwork, and they all seemed to act like they had no idea those other people even existed. At about the 30-minute mark, the still visibly frustrated manager came back to me with both receipts, and I showed him the correct math based on the $24.68 total. He went to the register and handed me $3, bringing my change to $5 (still $0.32 short), and acted like he was doing me a favor by rounding up somehow and applying multiple discounts.
Then he left my food sitting on the ready station for another 5 minutes before they ended up telling someone else to hand it to me in a less than polite way. By the time I made it home, I had one order of sesame chicken (mostly green beans) and one order of orange chicken to go with my fried rice, but three orders of rangoons all cold before I even got back in the car.
- Speedy and good value
- Can not solve issues in professional manor change dispute unhappy customer ppblic mistreatment of employees
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Be careful to check your change if you don't pay electronically. Not sure the manager can actually do the math under pressure.

- I waited 20 minutes; one order at a time.

- The food arrived cold.
- Money is counted at 10:05; no one can be in the store.
20 before closing, everything was empty people in line ahead of me waiting for their good to be made while in line one order at a time. The employee said the money gets counted at 10:05 and nobody can be in the store.
