Every Christmas I purchase at least 20 gift cards for $10.00 each for my employees to get lunch. Today, one employee cane to me, said she went to use the gift card and they said the balance was zero dollars.

I always give the receipts with each card. I got the card and receipt from her and called the store. They told me they couldnt do anything, they have been having issues with some gift cards lately but i would have to call corporate. I called corporate told them what happened and asked if they could tell me when and what location the card was used.

Granted, we live in Michigan. I was told the card was used on January 18, in California. I said well there is obviously an error, we live in Michigan. She said theres nothing she can do for me that Panda Express does not refund fraudulent use of gift cards.

I said that i have the card and receipt in my hand, she again said theres nothing she can do for me. I said, well i spend $200 a year on gift cards and i will not be spending a dime at your restraunt ever again. Its not like we flew to California to use a $10 gift card. I was told too bad.

I can't begin to believe how i was treated by this companies so called corporate, very sad customer service, actually zero customer service.

The message i got was your business means nothing to us so quit wasting my time.....POOR SERVICE!! I WILL NEVER ENTER THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Same thing happened to me! I tried to use my Panda Express gift card today and only had $3.90 on it.

It was a $25.00 card. I called and was told the exact same thing. A charge was made in California on January 18!! I live in Tennessee.

The basically told me too bad. I even told them I read where this has happened to other people on the same day. They didn't care.

Panda lost another customer today. Poor customer service.

Weird....... I actually tried to use mine to buy dinner tonight, and they asked for a security code.......

My giftcard does not have a security code, and I used it just two days ago without a problem at the same restaurant. Any one else having this problem?

Hi Cody, I still have 3 Panda Express gift cards, all of which do not have security code (PIN). I tried using one 2 weeks ago and they wouldn't let me.

I've lost almost $50 because of that. Like you, I was able to use one of the cards before, but now cannot because Panda changed their policy.

It's a blatant ripoff of consumers who already bought their gift cards without a PIN. I think we would have a class action case if we hear more complaints from people like this.
